You MUST have the following criteria resolved before you even consider traveling with your students:
- The program must be "worry free" - you do not wish to be concerned with any liability. You want a company that carries at least a 5 million dollar Liability Insurance to protect you, your school and your school board.
- Your want central downtown hotels so no precious time is ever wasted in transferring from point-to-point for your daily activities.
- You must have a bilingual tour director on location to carry out all the logistics of your program. You do no want to be bothered to book, reconfirm or update your daily activities. You just want to be welcomed at each point of interest as pre-arranged.
- You need ample rest and sleep each night - you do not want to stay up half of the night checking whether or not your students slipped out of their rooms after curfew!
- You want your company to arrange for a security service and/or hotel plain-clothes security to check that "all is well" after CURFEW!
Finally, you want your program to be educational and cultural and one that is fun, varied, innovative and NOT boring! You want your students to return home raving about their experience! Above all, it must be "a hands-on experience" not just a routine visit to museums.
